WWSOFFL:

Week 7: The Colassals certainly were this week in rolling up 78 points with five players (M. Turner, K. Moreno, H. Nicks, D. Bowe, and R. Birones) in double figures. Only the D did not score in a 78-38 blowout against Charlie. There was one other blowout, the Gatsbys led by K Britt’s 23 points over TD Jesus 63-18. The rest of the games were close, and none closer than the Ducks 33-33 tiebreaker win over the Crushers. The replay officials were rough on the Vikings and the Crushers. In the Steve Smith Bowl, the Thumbs got 8 from the New York Giant while the Maroons got none from the Panther to win 37-28. In the battle of Giant running backs, Bradshaw’s two bonus points were enough to hold off Jacobs td and bonus point as the Onion Heads beat the Salmon 31-29. The Wheat Eaters three bye week pickups accounted for 24 of the 36 points in a 36-30 victory over the Whales.

The defending champion Thumbs have the best record in the league at 6-1 and hold a one game lead in the Peter. The Crushers have the biggest lead, by three games, in the struggling Julie while the Colassals are one game ahead of the Wheat Eaters.

How about those New York Football Giants? They spot the Cowboys 20 early points and then start playing. G-Men.

WRs 20, RBs 12.

Moves: Maroons picked up S. Smith (Car) for L. Murphy and Pettigrew for Clark; TD went for Woodland over Jackson; Succop for Nugent; and M. Williams (TB) for Tate; the Whales traded in Cleveland for Arizona; the Colassals took the G-Men for Cincinnati and Fitzpatrick for Cutler; the Thumbs went to K. Brown for Keading; and the Salmon went back to Hartley for Carney.

The DeSales Irish beat a tough Dayton team 24-7. They face Tri-City Prep in the final regular season game on the road. They need to win to assure home field in the first round of the playoffs.

Oz

**Note Crushers beat the Ducks.
