Week 6: The Gatsbys lose, and with style. You know your season is going bad when neither you or your opponent start a kicker who actually plays, your opponent also starts two players on bye week, and you lose! To top it off, if you stayed with your original lineup you win. The Salmon, behind 12 points from T. Gonzalez and B. Jacobs downed the Gatsbys 33-30. The Maroons defeated Charlie 39-18. The Wheaties got a big day from D. Jackson before he was hurt and defeated the Onion Heads 31-26. The Thumbs surged to the lead in the Peter Division with a 30-26 win against the Ducks. In the Civil War game, the Colassals got 12 points from Birones last night to overcome TD Jesus 30-26. The Crushers took a commanding early lead in the Julie Division with a 28-16 win over the Whales.
The Link is the most competitive division with every team .500 or better. As Bob Muir noted, the Julies are just not the same without him this year with only one team with a winning record.
RBs 12, WRs 8.
Moves: Onion Heads took Roy Williams for D. McNabb and D. Branch for S. Smith (Car.); TD Price Waterhouse picked up Pittsburgh for Minnesota. The Whales reclaimed Farve for C. Williams. Thumbs took T. Moeaki for D. Thomas. Charlie switched D, dropping Baltimore for KC. To clear up some earlier confusion I caused, B. Roethlisberger is a Thumb.
The DeSales Irish rolled last Friday 70-30 over Asotin. They are at Dayton this week
