It will be an all Peter Division final! The Onion Heads, led by their Seattle threesome of Lynch, Hauschka, and the D that combined for 32 of the sweet ones 41 points, downed the Brady-led Whales 41-34. The Salmon were swimming downstream this weekend. Led by the Lion combo of Stafford to Johnson, and with everyone in the lineup but Gates scoring, they rolled over TD Jesus 72-27.
The Maroons will met the Crushers in the Toilet Bowl. L. McCoy's 21 points led the high-scoring Maroons to a 44-36 victory over the Wheaties. The Crushers beat the Colassals 22-13.
There is a Thursday night game and Saturday games this week.
Merry Christmas to everyone from all of us at the league headquarters.

Week 13
WWSOFFL:
Week 13: The playoffs are now set. By virtue of defeating the Maroons 34-28 and the tiebreaker over the Onion Heads, who defeated the Thumbs 47-33 behind M. Lynch’s 15 points, the Salmon won the Peter Division and a first round bye. Despite losing, the Thumbs secured the final playoff spot. Charlie also earned its place in the playoffs with a 36-29 win over the Wheat Eaters. Link Division winner the Whales still get a first round bye despite losing 38-29 to the Colassals. TD Jesus clinched the Julie Division with a 30-14 defeat of the Ducks, sending the latter in the marsh with a record worst 1-12 season. The Gatsbys defeated the Crushers 48-47.
TD Jesus will play the Thumbs and the Onion Heads will face Charlie in the first round. Based on total points, the first tie-breaker, the Whales are the number one seed and will face the winner of the Onion Heads-Charlie game. The Salmon get the winner of TD Jesus versus the Thumbs.
In the Hot Poop Toilet Bowl, The Maroons and the Crushers earned first round byes due to the tiebreaker. The Colassals will face the Ducks and the Gatsbys will play the Wheat Eaters. The Maroons get the winner of the Gatsbys-Wheat Eaters imbroglio, while the Crushers get the victor of the Colassals-Ducks showdown.
Just so the there is no confusion when it comes to whining rights, they go to the Maroons. They led the league in total points, but did not make the playoffs. That is a first. Maybe this will get Ben to go into the archives for some of his classic material on that subject.

WWSOFFL:
Week 12: It has been awhile since I wrote one of these. A big week for the Peter Division (Peter Power?) as they won all four of their games and every team kept their playoff hopes alive. Conversely, the Link Division went 0-4 and the Julies 2-2. It was the Maroons over the Whales, 26-21, the Salmon 43-20 over the Colassals, the Onion Heads downing the Ducks 40-15, the Thumbs defeating TD 41-28, the Gatsbys over the
Wheaties is a key seeding game for the Toilet Bowl 24-19, and the Crushers keeping their chances for the division title and to defend their crown going with a 32-29 victory over Charlie.
In the Peter Division the Salmon and Onion Heads have both clinched playoff spots and are tied for the division lead. The Salmon face the Maroons who must win to have any chance at the playoffs and the OH play the Thumbs who are in the playoffs with a win. The Whales have clinched the Link. Charlie, facing the Wheaties, secures a playoff spot with a win. In the Julie, TD Jesus can clinch the Division with a win over the Ducks. The Crushers need to beat the Gatsbys and hope the Ducks can win to force a tiebreaker situation for the division crown and possibly the final playoff spot depending on what happens in the other games. The Colassals, Wheaties, Gatsbys, and Ducks are out.

Week 9
November 8, 2011
WWSOFFL:
Week 9: It was a big week on the Links, with three wins. The Whales led the pod as they have all year as 17 points from W. McGahee powered them to a 52-36 win over the Onion Heads. Charlie stayed two games back with as 20 points from V. Jackson let them hang ten on the Thumbs 47-31. The Colassals defeated the mismanaged Gatsbys 36-29. The win streak was stopped in the 54th Street Bowl as the Crushers, led by A. Rodgers 12 points, downed the Wheat Eaters 35-19. The only winner in the Peter Division was the Maroons. Get a positive vibe in the weekly letter and look out as they downed the Ducks 27-22. It was two wins for the Julies as the Division leading TD Jesus connected with Julio (Jones) down at the school yard for 16 and a big 48-22 win over Peter Division leader the Salmon.
In the playoff picture, the Ducks have officially been eliminated. Division games this week will go a long way to sorting things out or making things closes as TD Jesus plays the Crushers in the Julie and the Whales play Charlie. Both have two games leads that they can stretch to three or see reduced to one. The Salmon play the Thumbs who need a win to stay in the wildcard race.
Moves: The Ducks picked up T.J. Houshmanzada for Sims-Walker; The Whales took N. Novak for 85; the Onion Heads grabbed R. Brown for Bradford; the Colassals took Tate for Torian; and TD raised his arms for Helu and K. Smith banishing Scott and Addai.

Week 8
November 1, 2011
WWSOFFL:
**I miscalculated the Salmon score and they won 38-36 over the Wheat Eaters. My apologies to all. No excuses. Like Philip Rivers, I just dropped the ball. A new standings is attached.
A very tired Oz**
Week 8: The Maroons have scored well all year, but the schedule maker has been unkind. This week, they left nothing to chance posting a week leading 51 points behind 15 from L. McCoy in a 51-30 win over the Colassals. The Thumbs put the screws to the defending champions with a 37-11 victory. Keeping the Peter win streak going, the Onion Heads got 15 from S. Jackson in a 43-34 win over the Gatsbys. The Linksters also had a three win week led by the Wheat Eaters who stopped Peter Division leader the Salmon in a tiebreaker win. Two tds from the Detroit D were critical in forging a 36-36 tie and a 34-32 win after bonus points were deducted. The Whales kept their two game lead and league best record with a NY Giantsesque 24-17 defeat of the winless Ducks. Charliegot 18 points from R. Rice in a big 44-18 win over TD Jesus. Yes, that means the Julie Division was winless for the week, with only one team scoring over 20 points.
In the playoff picture, I think it is safe to say that some teams are all but out of the running already: Ducks, Gatsbys, and Maroons. The Crushers and Colassals need to get hot, and the remainder of the teams are all in the mix. Week 9 has some big games with the Peter co-leader the Onion Heads facing and Link Division leading Whales, and the other Peter co-leader the Salmon playing the Julie leading TD Jesus.
Moves: Crushers picked up D. Bailey for A. Vinatieri. Oh how the Colts have fallen when the always dependable Vinatieri is dropped. The Onion Heads reacquired P. Thomas for E. Graham.
